Jan 2, 2021 · Activation of a new phone should take a maximum of 5 minutes and there really isn't a reason I couldn't just use my existing Xfinity Mobile SIM but even if I needed to wait a few days for the new SIM there is no reason activation of a new phone, transfer of a phone line, and deactivation of the old phone should take more than 5 minutes.
