Took the dealership 5 months, 4 times in service and a lot of angry phone calls in order to figure it out. Best of luck! If so you could have a heater core leak (although those leaks very rarely result in the rear carpet getting wet). If it doesn't smell like antifreeze, you could have a body seal defect allowing rain water to get into the car. If your warranty is intact I'd recommend a trip to the dealer.
