Sporties: Mobil1 15W-50 in the motor. Mobil1 75W-90 gear oil in the trans. Big Twins: Same engine oil and trans oil as the sporties, but the primary gets the Mobil1 10W-40 motorcycle stuff. Has worked well for me over 100's of thousands of miles and shows great protection.

The bike is an 08 Ultra Classic which I like very much. The book says four quarts for oil and filter. Yet, they tell you to only put 3.5 quarts in and check it.
