The CX-5 AWD system seems to work better. Interior Feel- Again, not much to say, the CX-5 is much nicer inside in most respects, it just feels so much nicer, the Rav4 felt flimsy inside. The RAV4 is not as big as you think , its taller and you ride higher, but its footprint is closer to the prius then it is to a full size suv. The prius entire focus is on mpg, mine drove fine but it was slow and heavy, sometimes felt like a boat. Night and day difference. Hybrid is the way to go. Over all Smoother, quiter driving experience. Disliked the 8 speed tranny. I immediately missed the quick responsiveness of the e-cvt and the electric motors. I got 22 mpg on the adventure. I easily get 35-42mpg on my hybrid without trying. There is no real downside to the hybrid.
