The character is in Strength of thousands, and my gm has ruled that for the Free archtype, spellcasters can get any dedication, but non-spellcasters (and Kineticists) must take a spellcaster dedication. (I.e. it must have "Basic, Expert and Master spellcasting benefits feats within the dedication. It does NOT need to be a multiclass dedication.
