The only lbg that MIGHT beat it is the Wind Serpent one since it can rapid Shrapnel 2. BUT I also have a fully decked out pierce build with the Narga LBG now at end game. My shrapnel build on the test dummy does about half as much damage (a little over 100 for one rapid "burst" where the pierce does around 190).

LBG pierce is great as it's not as reliant on perfect monster dodging like spread and also not as hitzone dependant as normals. Your DPS will vary depending on the monster though.
