Sacred is the best for it. Hits everything with one swing. I used Blasphemous until I got Sacred. You can position yourself just right and knock some clean off the cliff. They follow wherever the sword strike ends so wait for them to gather before hitting again. It takes alot longer than Sacred would but it's better than hitting one by one lol

Not really its just for rune farm. Has its uses in 6man pvp where you can spam to aow into the back of people fighting for cheap kills. I use it only for its ash of war. As a regular weapon, I don't find its moveset particularly good, especially for pvp.
