In 2015, the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission opened its 90-bed family shelter in Northridge, and in 2022, it's men's Life Recovery Program campus in Northridge. On Jan. 1, 2023, the Rescue Mission Alliance took over operations of the Antelope Valley Dream Center in Lancaster.The mobile shower unit provides thousands of showers each year while assisting clients with other services they desperately need, including haircuts, food, clothing, and hygiene products so they can have a fresh start in their day.
