I've got a set of the large helium sticks. I've done a couple mods on them, added silencer strips to the backs and Amsteel daisy chains to replace the cam straps but that's it so far. My issue is that I keep getting a loud squeaking noise that seems to be coming from the versa button when I've got my weight on them.They have a tensile strength of 1600lbs with a working load of 320lbs. We offer 3 sizes of loops to accomodate variation in versa button size. The daisy chains for the larger versa button climbing sticks like the hawk helium and lone wolf will need 2.75" loops. For smaller versa buttons like the shikaror lone wolf custom gear will need 2" loops.5/16″-18 x 2″ hex head – Use these for newer Hawk Helium sticks (mid 2021). Hawk Helium Stick Mods. Thought I'd share the modifications I made to my climbing sticks. Having to deal with metal to metal noises I put 2 coats of Hercules bed liner (Lowes) then painted. The bed liner ruberized the pieces.
