Easy to understand simple and more action. The excellent balance of action and philosophy/deep stuff just the right amount that the reader can understand . From book 3 onwards it all gets way full of philosophy and things thst just blow your brain trying to understand them. Book 5 and 6 while decent are just wierd. Book 1 to 3 is peak dune imo.Haven't read all of them yet (just finished Time of Contempt), but Sword of Destiny is my favourite so far, I love those short stories. Sword of Destiny, especially Something More and A Little Sacrifice teared me apart. I'm only to read Lady of the Lake and I expect it to top those two. Lady of the Lake, quite by far.
