There are a lot of trees that you can get close to for pictures. The General Sherman Tree is easy to get to. Go to the parking lot and hike 7/10 of a mile OR take a shuttle from the parking lot to an easy 3/10 of a mile hike to the tree. Lots of beautiful scenery and big trees here. The Congress Trail is a must-do in Sequoia National Park! The Big Trees Trail is a level, paved trail that traverses mature sequoias along the periphery of Round Meadow. This Giant Forest loop trail is about 0.75 mile long. Pick up the trail at the Giant Forest Museum.Jun. 2023 • Family. Sequoia is a very nice park.
