In January, i got an II from one of my top-choice schools- and the one I ended up attending! I know how anxiety-inducing this whole process is, but take a deep breath and walk away, particularly from SDN. SDN can be a really useful tool for some things, but it is actively malicious for others.

Pretty sure Emory doesn’t notify rejections until end of the interview season (Feb) from what i have seen, Tulane and Quinnipiac send pre-II rejections. I feel like here on r/premed, people are generally trying to help their fellow applicants, while on SDN people are either trying to show off or tear others down. Lmao. The AAMC A-23 grid shows that people with those stats have a 77.5% acceptance rate. Pretty much double the national average.

It feels like I get conflicting opinions everywhere I look. r/premed and SDN recommend finding like-minded premed students to do “swaps” and completely avoiding coaching or editing services. I just read Dr. Ryan Grey’s PS book and he said to avoid swaps and use a coaching/editing service (his own is like $500-5k 💀).
