Hi so before the update imvu was running smoothly without lagging and having low memory device storage. Then an update came along which ended up lagging me and booting me out of rooms the moment it became too crowded but I dealed with it because those weren't the rooms I frequently visited. 6 years ago. The only way to animate a gif for a chatroom is that you have to set the gif image as your display picture on your profile first. Hi @veryviv , for public room image we can use 320 X140 pixels or bigger size with the same aspect ratio otherwise the picture will be cropped. If we upload profile picture from classic website, the maximum size is 220 X 160 pixels and can't be over 200KB, for Mobile and Desktop/Next we can upload any size picture and it will be cropped and resized to 744 X 1024 pixels.
It's definitely a problem. There's never been access to shared rooms via mobile. I'm hoping they fix it. My husband and I use mobile mostly so we just use an apt we set up as a public room set to the lowest number of guests (3) hoping no one will join. We haven't decorated an official shared room since neither of us can access it.
