Idk if I have extremely bad luck but I’ve been doing vow first chest on all three characters (mainly for the spoils) since season of the plunder and I’ve never gotten a red border from the chest I only got red borders from encounters or boss drops. 1.Out of 5 raids of my clan (I was in 2 of these) the chest appeared only once. Although we had activated the right runes, nothing appeared in the chat and the chest at the end was not spawned. And of these 5 runs, 2 were done without wiping.I fucking hate these runes. Idk why VoDs we’re so much easier, but there were no issues there. Every time I went for it, I got them. I did KF three times, hitting all three runes, before I got the red chest on my fourth run, babysitting every rune, and being the last guardian out of every room, backing out watching the rune to make sure it didn’t fuckingZaedeor. •. I have never seen anyone get one from buying extra weapons from the glaive. I got two red borders my first run, I haven't spent any spoils so I can't say.

Other raids’ chests do drop Red Borders. King’s Fall, Deep Stone Crypt and Vow chests all have dropped Red Borders for me in the last three seasons.
