Jun 28, 2023 · I bought a blem Dagger compact frame off PSA, and installed a 2.5L spring, and a new extended Glock mag release that I filed to suit my liking on Wednesday. It’s a night and day difference. The 2.5 lb spring in a Dagger feels about like the stock 5 lb spring in a GEN3 Glock. Put stock PSA mag release back in, no issues. 100 mag inserts, zero (0) catches. Either PSA design is an issue, or Brownells sent me a cheap Chinese knock-off. Why someone would knock off a $5 part, I have no idea. But hey, I’m just the messenger.

Hold your pistol in a vice and pass your trigger pull gauge through the trigger guard from right to left and place the tip of the trigger pull gauge on the mag release button. I built the exact same one and it was good. Added the Glock OEM extended mag release, slide release and a half power mag spring. Also, if you start having light primer strikes, go to a 6lbs striker spring. I also upgraded my firing pin to glock oem and added Ghost maritime turbo cups. It ran flawless. Did pretty well in carry optics.
