Kawasaki lakota no neutral light. I got a Kawasaki Lakota 300 the other day for $50.00 ! The bike ran over the summer but has sat till now. I bought the bike and brought it home after someone stole the coil and key switch. I put the KEY SWITCH & COIL off of my KAWASAKI MOJAVE 250 on it. I know the key switch will work but not sure about the coil ?

The lakota is jetted a little rich from the factory and tends to stumble a bit after start up. Get a less restrictive airfilter or clean the one you have. The DG excellerator and the Big Gun exhaust systems are prolly the best for the Lakota. Kawasaki lakota 300 backfires & coughs above idle running rich. I'm a newbie here. I have a 2001 Lakota sport that backfires and coughs above idle. I have adjusted the valves, cleaned the carberator, checked the diaphram in the carberator, made sure the choke is closing.
