Kaplan 300 page doc.

Im shooting for a 515. I used the 86 page one for my first mcat and the 300 page one for the second mcat. I liked the 300 page better. For my P/S content review, I used the 86 pg doc and premed95's anki deck. If I ever felt uncomfortable with something in the 86 pg doc, I'd watch the corresponding KA video. YMMV, but I ended up with a 132 in P/S.Gotcha. So if I'm starting from about 0 knowledge of the topics, and I don't test till late May, would you say I'm doing the right thing by using the 300 page document and Kahn Academy videos, and then going into practicing with it? Read it blandly 1-2 times a day for ~15 mins (what I did). I just used it in the AM to prime/preview for the day and refresh from the day before. Disclaimer: I haven't got my score back yet. My avg FL is 507 out of 7 BP FLs. 86 Page is more than enough. 300 Page is just too much imo. Scored 131 on P/S. I did the 300pg doc in 7 days, 8 days if you include the bonus material (pages 300-335). If you combine that with a lot of practice you should be able to score really well on P/S overall.71. Kaplan is fine except for P/S. Do KA videos instead. There's a lot of info from the 300 page doc that I've only seen there. If Kaplan's P/S book is anything like TPR, they're only going to give a bare bones review of high yield. Didn't do Kaplan but felt the exact same with TPR P/S.

Nothing guarantees anything on the MCAT. Nobody can bank on a 132. A lot of the section is passage and data based. I think if strong knowledge of the 300 page doc "guarantees" a score, it would be around 127, not 132. 130+ is a hard earned score in any section.
