I have to put the power reverser back to neutral and then depress the clutch and then it will move into reverse once i release the clutch and move the power reverser back to reverse.Power Problems. 5425 Power Reverser Problem. Just bought a new 5425 MFWD with the Power Reverser. The first time I used it I just drove it ahead and back a few times and parked it in the shed. The second time I used it, the Power Reverser would not shift. When I move from Forward to Reverse the neutral light on the dash just flashes and it stays in neutral.
