Going off how the NCLEX adapts, I don't necessarily think your pass or fail was entirely dependent on that last question. I mean it certainly could've been, just not the case 100% of the time that someone goes to 145. Did about 600 questions on Uworld, 59% average, 72nd percentile, and got a high chance of passing on my assessment I took 4 days before I tested. Don't expect to do 85 questions in an hour and be done. I was the first of a whole group of us to leave, so clearly it's not necessarily the norm to be done in an hour. You CAN pass in 145 questions. You CAN fail in 85 questions (even if unlikely). You can pass after 5 hours and you can fail after 45 minutes. As many others who have taken the NGN have mentioned, NCLEX questions are extremely vague in comparison to some study materials out there, particularly UWorld. Speaking of UWorld, I used about 70% of the QBank with varying practice test scores between 40-70%.And those were just the successful ones.
