Aug 22, 2017 · My 2007 Honda Odyssey EX has served us well. 140,000 miles and we love it. Very few issues or problems. During past few weeks a big problem has come up -- when the passenger side rear sliding door is opened, it often won't close all the way. It goes most of the way, then stops and returns to completely open.

Disconnect where the opening/closing cables attach do the door. Then it'll slide freely. Then you can decide whether you want to remove the whole motor or leave it in there. I'd disconnect the power to it so it doesn't beep at times. Not sure what you'll want to do with the cables if you leave the motor in.
