I made an exception for poor frame rates for Zelda, something I rarely ever do with games because I hope they did a good job with everything else. Take a look at the Sky map in the OP.The most notable and acclaimed Zelda-like inspired directly by OoT is probably Okami, which follows the formula but has wildly different combat. There were more Zelda-esque games that seemed inspired by the early Zelda games back in the day, like Beyond Oasis, Crusader of Centy, and Alundra, but those came out a long time ago.
