Agreed 100% kids are priority to parents. I've had to push my parents away for the sake of my children. The world they grew up in, the idea of manliness, and femininity. The only major issue is my stepson Michel. Now Michel is a sweet and affectionate kid and I love him, but I am not his dad. For all his flaws, Keith has been a very involved dad.
