I bought the rifle from SARCO for $900.00; fully assembled and head spaced. This is a cast receiver made by James River and looks to be cleanly milled and fits the stock tightly.The M14/M1A platform is a premier top shelf battle tested and proven rifle. It's obviously based on the "best battle rifle ever made" at the time, the M1 Garand. It has been sinced significantly improved with smaller caliber, weight reduction, size reduction, and bigger detachable mags.Don't know specifically about a completed JRA M14 rifle, but I have used a number of JRA / Bula receivers in builds and have had excellent results. Receivers were made for JRA first by LRB Arms on Long Island NY, then 7.62 MM Firearms in Medina Ohio and finally by Bula Defense Systems in Cleveland Ohio.Machining M14 receivers has a steep learning curve. If they are truly having their own made, I would be really cautious about buying one until they’ve been proven to be good. I bought from JRA and my M14 was defective. I called Classic who then put me in touch is Bula Defense. Bula took care of fixing my M14 and they sent me a shipping label so other than waiting a few weeks for the round trip I got a working M14 now. If Bula sells complete M14 rifles now I would go with Bula instead of JRA.

I just looked to see for myself and both the M14 TRW IDF RIFLE RARE RIFLE 7.62X51 (#622468330) and the M 14 M1A forged receiver USA TRW (#621568519) are the same serial number on the same receiver manufacturer.

JRA was using some Criterion barrels at that time and there was a batch that had rough chambering. My rifle was unfortunately one of them.
