Is the sig sp2022 discontinued.

My guess is that Sig would have discontinued the model entirely had it not been for the French Government contract.
I originally reviewed the SP 2022 back in 2015 while in California. It was and is still a "roster" option. People want to know if it's still a good option....07:23 about a 70 upgrade but the weight on this is a lot different than the 226 this weighs 29 ounces while the 226 weighs 34 ounces so you have less weight with the model sp2022 the barrel is also a little shorter it’s only 3.9 inches while on the model p226 it’s 4.4 inches now to break down the pistol we’re going to take the magazine ...the SP2022 is an excellent handgun!
