When I first started, I tried reading level II, the tape and ladder and it was all very confusing. Someone on here turned me onto bookmap and thats when the DOM made sense. You see the spoofing and large sellers/buyers pushing or walking the stock up or down, the liquidity disappearing and the stock just tanking and so on.

The aim is to capture short to intermediate- term price swings. Swing trading carries a moderate level of risk compared to day trading and scalping.

Bookmap isn't a magic wand that will make you profitable overnight. My suggestion would be to take a step back and try to understand what orderflow is, what the building blocks are and how you could use or restructure the information to help you in the way you want your trade using the timeframes relevant to you.
