Yeah , for example the Dawnstar chest being moved further beneath the ground. So I guess there's no mod that brings them back up? In all seriousness Bethesda did not patch this out. At least in oldrim. There was a day where I tried to find it back on 360, looked in the exact spot it was supposed to be, and couldn't find it. Naw it shows up on my 360, but not on my ps4, and I did not upgrade to newest version cuz it would disable some of my mods.Dawnstar hidden chest gone? ... Is there any reference about it? It it the secret stash of some Dawnstar citizen? It's just so much that I feel like cheating when taking it.I love them. They are merchant chests, and some aren't hidden all that well (Dawnstar's Kajiit Caravan chest, for example). However, some are literally underground and we're discovered by pure happenstance (Whiterun market comes to mind). Not Easter Eggs for the player, but useful nonetheless. Really helping my full achievement run RN.
Just go to Dawnstar and look around the rocks to the east/left of Iron-Breaker mine. The chest is invisible, but your crosshairs will see it. Just move around until you see "chest." There should still be hidden chests. I can confirm that patch 1.9 still has the hidden merchant chests in.
