I checked the compression, it's got 109/110 psi, but no spark on the lower cylinder. The plug wires come from under the flywheel, unlike my newer motor, also a Force/Gamefisher 9.9hp.

May 18, 2009. #3. Re: 15 hp gamefisher lower unit. It turned out to be a shift linkage problem. The linkage connection bolt wasn't tight so when I would shift in forward it would slip. Same with reverse, and that's why It would either freeze in forward, or neutral and wouldn't shift out of it. I adjusted it, and tightened it, and it works ...15 HP.
