Ford f250 on 37s.

Tried to get the pictures as close as I possibly could for comparison. Anyway here are the details. 2023 F350 XLT Premium, SAP, Tires are Toyo Open Country AT3’s in 37 12.50 R18, on factory Tremor rims. Picked these tires for a couple reasons, they are factory spec’d down... The 32" tires I have now have alot of room left in the fenders, and plenty of clearance around the springs. Best so far was 13.5mpg. 4WD off road exploring for days resulted in 9mpg. Rarely have driven empty but would be 14mpg or better depending. Trailer towing it is around 10mpg. Just got the PSC hydro assist ram installed.

I had 7.3 with basically 35s, going from 3.73 to a 4.30 gearing was fantastic, with 37s your net would be slightly lower than 4.10 gearing on a stock tire. I think 4.56 would be too tall, I’d recommend 4.30, good balance for towing and mpgs. I would go at least 4.88's if you tow anything remotely heavy.

Nov 25, 2020 · Maybe. Most 12.50 tires are designed for 8.5" width rims at minimum. 9-10" is recommended. Stock wheels are 8 inches wide. There aren't too many 12.50s that will fit 8" rims based on factory documentation. The Toyo R/T and M/Ts, for example, require an 8.5 minimum. Twice I've seen 15.3 but that was all highway zero stop and go traffic.

After the Lift and 37s I have put an additional 5.3K miles averaging 11.8 mpg, please keep in mind this is with an Un-Corrected Odometer. Truck in my Sig has an 8" lift with 37's. I bumped up the stock gearing from 3.73 to 4.30's. Made a big difference off the line and up hills. I pull a 7-8k lb boat loaded.
