Star metal has high durability as obsidian doesn't. Obsidian bars when learned to craft is a pain in the ass.Yeah, it gets a little more yield but for durability go with starmetal, IMHO. Star metal = 22 yield v. 24 for obsidian. Or go Acheronian, 24 yield and high durability. I honestly don't get why anything besides Acheronian exists on high levels..
