AVOID THE SCAM FROM AUTOVIA I am a regular user of car hire at Brindisi and Bari airports. I used Autovia for the first time in May 2023. The rental car had zero fuel at pick up. The gauge said it had just 7kms worthof fuel. I returned to the car rental desk to complain - the shutter was down and the staff had gone home. Reserved the car through a third party with the top insurance. Was told that had to upgrade the insurance provided by the rental company (autovia) to avoid paying 350€ administrative charges once I delivered the car. Easy and affordable car rental, friendly staff. We booked a car for one week and got a nice and powerful Jeep Renegade in the middle class („Seat Leon or similar). Staff was super friendly, even though we had to book an extra insurance, because the one we booked from booking.com didn’t cover anything.
