Thousands of procedures. We are an 889-bed hospital, which includes 205 beds at UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital. In fiscal year 2023, we recorded more than 33,000 inpatient admissions and over 52,000 emergency department visits. We performed nearly 37,000 major surgical operations and over 190,000 minor surgical procedures.
