I got accepted to all three, including narrative production at CSULB and SDSU. CSUN ranks way above all of these schools in film and TV. SJSU is a great school and if the cost of living is your main deciding factor, SJSU might be a good choice since you live close. On the flip side, SDSU is a lot more engaging socially and there are definitely tech jobs in San Diego. After being at both schools I definitely prefer SDSU.

Depends on the major, STEM go SJSU, non STEM do SDSU. San Diego is more fun, prettier, etc. but San Jose has insane stem job opportunities. SJSU for Engineering & CS (except BME, I think SDSU has better biology depts). SDSU for everything else.
