Re: CETME C - thoughts on first build? The receiver blanks can be hard to get some times. You have to bend and weld it and modify the trigger group and some other parts. You should have access to a press and a welder capable of welding sheet metal for the receiver and barrel.

It really would be cost efficient. Built C308s go for about 800-900. I'm build a Cetme right now and I'm in it for about 700. When you factor in a build service, it gonna be about 400 bucks or so.
