Modern autos are amazing. With 7, 8, or 9 speeds and electronic control with lightning-fast gear changes, they make for great experience. The car is often faster while also being more economical. However old-school autos with a torque converter and (typically) 1-2 fewer gears than the manual version were not good.
Shouldn't it sell more manuals. Was looking at the used car market and the percentage of manual bmw is hardly anything. I know manuals overall are rare but for a brand like BMW there should be plenty.
