I carried 124g +P 9mm Gold Dot for a while, but recently made the switch to 147g Speer Lawman for range ammo and 147g +P HST for self defense. The literature sold me on HST and I generally like the extra speed. It's a soft shooter and gets me back on target more quickly and accurately than the 115s do.
